Fan Cherry Trees

An ideal way to grow cherry trees is a fan against a wall. They enjoy the warmer conditions and are easier to net against the birds. A fan trained cherry will require 180cm’s + in height and width, and a sunny south or west facing aspect. If you want to fan train a cherry against an east or north wall then choose the Morello [cooking] variety.

We supply young cherry trees suited to fan training, they are not pre-trained. These trees usually settle to cropping in 2-3 years.
