Fan trained Plums
A fan trained Plum tree can handsomely cover a wall or fence and crops are prodigious on established trees. Fan trained Plums need an area of not less than 180cm’s x 180cm’s in which to happily grow. We supply young trees suitable for fan-training, they are not pre-trained. It is often better to fan-train a Plum in situ rather than to by a fully trained older tree.
Our fan trained Plums are available for sale in very wide variety and a south or west facing aspect is best. Some culinary variety of fan trained plum are suitable for an east facing wall.
